Hello everyone. So our podcast is finished and handed in. After learning our scripts off, we recorded our first scene in the hall of our college on monday evening, this was the part were i played a teacher and sarah interviewed me. We then met tuesday morning and recorded alex interviewing me as a teacher and sarah as a student. These were both recorded out on the street. We then did our last recording in the studio were we were kindly helped by profesionals from the college. This consisted of me interviewing alex as a minister of heath and also our introduction and finale were recorded. The studio staff then kindly edited and fixed our recording for us. They were extremely helpful and gave us there full attention. Our podcast was then finally handed in yesterday. I enjoyed this assignment and very much enjoyed working with my group.

hello everyone.. i hope everyone had a nice christmas. Im only arrived back in london on tuesday so i met my podcast team for the first time yesterday. We are making great progress in putting our podcast together. We've all assigned each other roles as a interviewer and a interviewee. I will be playing the role as a teacher and also a parent when im being interviewed. I will then interview alex when she is playing the role as a health minister. Alex will then interview sarah who will play a student and sarah is the person who interviews me as a teacher. We decided together what quetions we will ask eachother and how we will answer them. We then divided up research work that will be needed for our questions and answers. Im meeting with my group today to put the work together and write a final script. I will let ye know once our script is written. Talk then. :)

Hello everyone... i must start off to say that its been an extremely busy week. We have so much work to have in before christmas. Unfortuntely i was unable to make time to have a proper meeting with the members of my podcast group this week but we have been briefly discussing our next step. We have decided to sit down together next week and decide what questions we shall be asking asking eachother when we are playing the role as either, a teacher, parent or a member of the health board "Minister". We are then going to divide up the research work between us so we can work on putting our podcast together over the christmas holidays. I am happy that we have a proper plan made out and i am looking forward to find out which roles i will be playing. I will post what questions are going to be asked after my next podcast meeting.!!

I have just had my second meeting regarding my podcast. In our meeting we discused who our target audience is going to be and who we will be interviewing. We came to the conclusion that parents are the audience that need to be addressed. We want to make them aware of the causes and dangers of childhood obesity, for instance are they aware of the factors that influence this disease, examples include lack of exercise, amount of tv watched at home, amount of physical activity done at home, eating habits etc. We decided that our documentry will involve interviewing a parent, a teacher and a minister from the "department of health, children school and families". Our podcast will involve alot of props, including physical avtivity timetables from 10 years ago and now. We still have to discuss what exact questions we are going to be asking our interviewers, but we are happy on what we've decided on and achieved so far.

I had just had my first proper meeting regarding my group podcast for communicating science. We have decided to do a documentary on Childhood Obesity.
The heading of our topic is “The effects of the social cultural environment on childhood obesity”. In our documentary we will each be playing a role of an interviewer and an interviewee. We will be looking at the effects of the household and school environment on child obesity. We have decided that we would like to use the AV studio for the recording of our documentary. We still need to conduct some more research in this field and decide what kind of roles will be most effective on our audience. I feel this will be a very interesting assignment to conduct.
